These guys are FANTASTIC. I turned up at their workshop back in September with an old 1986 early Defender 110 that I picked up cheap. The engine was knackered, it had a dodgy power steering conversion, no brakes and the clutch had gone!!
So not a good start for me. Anyway, at my request, Land Roamer Devon have undertaken a full conversion to 300tdi. I have new brakes, new clutch, recon engine and gearbox, power steering, and too many other things to mention.
The engineering that has taken place in the engine bay, such as custom made brackets for header tank and oil pipes, extension of air intake and boost pipes really show what a professional job these guys have done. I’m now 2000 miles on from the conversion without any problems.
And if you think that’s impressive, they even completed fixed my heating issues. I have a warm Land Rover (now that’s got to be an achievement?!).
